Here's a hand played yesterday at 5/10nl live which I think illustrates the importance of fastplaying your hands while deepstacked.
There's a 2k cap and my stack is around 2700, i've been there for maybe 15 min and have opened a lot of pots taking down most of them on the flop and showing down AK on one of them after checking back flop calling turn + riv with turned TPTK. I haven't played with anyone at the table so this is all the info anyone has on me but in my experience at these stakes live opening that many pots in a short amount of time is enough to have people thinking you are crazy and lagtarded and won't fold to you with any sort of hand.
Anyways I open JJ to 40 UTG and get called in 6 spots including SB who has about 2500 or so. I saw him win a medium sized pot where he donked the flop 4 way, got called and then raised by the PFR, he 3bet and they both folded. So it's clear that he is perfectly capable of leading strong. Anyways the flop is JTT (bink, after getting called in 6 spots there aren't that many flops i'm in love with, even with an overpair) and SB leads for 75.
There are merits to slowplaying here, mostly the fact that you obv want people with straight draws to stick around. However most people had like 1k or less so the reward isn't that huge in the unlikely event that someone both has a straight draw and gets there. In addition to that if SB does have a T (which I think he quite often does) and gets a bunch of callers on the flop he's going to be very hesitant to get stacks in later. And if I'm the only caller i think he's still gonna be hesitant to get stacks in and will probably just flat my raise on later streets unless he fills up. This spot I would only slowplay if donkbetters stack was such that he's basically committed if he bets 3 streets so I can just call, call, ship.
Anyways I make it 325 everyone folds he calls quickly turn is blank i bet 550 he CRAI with KT.
