This game was simultaneously ghetto and fabulous. I arrived a little before 7:30PM. Was told we were to start half an hour earlier. I was the first one there. Pete had a womans present. Relayed a story that they "had been brunching" earlier in the day.

I was presented with a modest case of poker chips for use during the night. About 40 minutes into the game, I fully regretted my decision to make it an $0.08/$0.16 Limit mixed game (with $0.02/$0.04 blinds for PL action). Holy making change on every bet, Batman.

Not too many stories to tell. Best was when player A bet $15 into a $20ish pot.

Game was PL Korcheval. [Someone please post a full explanation... w/ spelling corrections].

Flop: 9h6d5d. Player A had 7d4d7xXxXx. Non-diamond ten on the turn. Seemingly inconsequential non-flush Yack on the river.

After the bet, Player B is slightly boo-hoo, tosses his hand in the muck.

Player A: "Ha ha, I bluffed you." -shows-hand-
Dealer: [grabs cards, clears board, pushes pot, moves button, begins to deal next hand].
Player B: (tries to defend his honour re: being bluffed) "Yeah, I had King-high diamonds, and a pair of Queens, and some other stuff."

Dealer: freezes. usually won't interfere with player chatter. This is a micro-stakes game. Dealer ettiquette is out the window. "Hold the fuck on.... did you just say you had KQ? You do realized you folded the stone-cold nuts on the river, right?"

Hilarity ensues.

Hand #2 - without much detail... $0.02/$0.04 PL Blind-man's Bluff Hold 'em.

Atleast four-way action to the flop, again players A & B go after each other. They get it all in after

For $48 and change, each.

Yeah, I pushed a $100 pot... 2500 big blinds...
